Welcome to Camp George Everest. By booking or participating in any of our camping packages, treks, or activities, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Booking & Reservation
- Bookings can be made via WhatsApp (+91-9012166400), phone call, or email.
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving confirmation from our team and any applicable advance payment.
- Advance payment requirements vary by package and group size. Details will be communicated at the time of booking.
- Booking confirmation is subject to availability of tents and camping slots for the requested dates.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are per person unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted price.
- Payment can be made via UPI, bank transfer, or cash at the campsite (as agreed during booking).
- GST and applicable taxes are included in the listed prices unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.
3. Cancellation & Refund
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund of the advance amount.
- Cancellations made within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival or no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
- In case of cancellation due to extreme weather conditions or natural calamities, a full refund or date change will be offered at the guest's choice.
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Participant Responsibilities
- Participants must be in reasonable physical health to undertake trekking and camping activities. Persons with serious medical conditions should consult a doctor before booking.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions given by camp guides and instructors at all times.
- Consumption of alcohol and use of illegal substances at the campsite is strictly prohibited.
- Littering or causing damage to the natural environment is not permitted. Camp George Everest follows a strict leave-no-trace policy.
- Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Camp George Everest is not liable for loss or damage to personal items.
5. Safety & Risks
- Camping, trekking, and outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to injury, illness, weather exposure, and wildlife encounters.
- By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks voluntarily.
- Camp George Everest maintains safety protocols and employs trained guides, but cannot guarantee complete elimination of all risks associated with outdoor activities.
- First aid kits are available at the campsite. The nearest hospital is in Mussoorie, approximately 6 km from the camp.
6. Weather & Force Majeure
- Activities may be modified or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions at the sole discretion of Camp George Everest for the safety of participants.
- No refund is applicable for activities missed due to late arrival by participants.
- In case of government-imposed restrictions, natural disasters, or other force majeure events, alternative dates will be offered or a full refund processed.
7. Children & Minors
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Activities for children are conducted under supervision, but parents/guardians remain responsible for their children at all times.
8. Photography & Media
- Camp George Everest may photograph or record activities during the camp for promotional purposes.
- If you do not wish to be featured in promotional material, please inform our team at the time of arrival.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camp George Everest and its owners, staff, and guides shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in camping activities, treks, or any services provided.
10. Changes to Terms
Camp George Everest reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
